The City and EC3 in particular is set to be graced by another large scale office redevelopment.
City of London planners have received a proposal for a new 16 storey 240,000 sq ft office scheme in Bevis Marks next to the stalled "Can of Ham" development.
Fairplay Estates intend to redevelop a total of 6 buildings including 24, 19 and 21-22 Bevis Marks, as well as 38-41 Houndsditch, John Stow House and 31-36 Houndsditch.
Traditional occupiers in the EC3 market such as insurance, finance and legal companies are expected to be the main target market for the new development.
