Newton Perkins placed in the top 20 lettings agents for the whole of London in the final quarter of 2017, according to Estates Gazette’s quarterly London Office Market Analysis report (LOMA).
With a total of 70,000 sq ft let during the quarter Newton Perkins closed out another successful year of letting activity with most of its activity centred around the City core market and in particular the EC3 office market which is its specialism.
This is borne out by the LOMA report’s statistics for the City core market for the whole of 2017, which show that Newton Perkins acted on transactions totalling 303,000 sq ft, placing 7th in the table and only below heavyweight multi-national firms such as CBRE and Cushman and Wakefield.
The final quarter of 2017 was a challenging market for all agents in the London office market, particularly in the City core; however, Newton Perkins’ strong performance in that sector shows its continuing commitment and expertise in this sector of the London office market.
