The Shard's prominent position next to London Bridge station on the South Bank and its access and transport links East, West, North and South makes it one of the most up and coming new locations for office occupiers relocating from The City or West End. This is reflected by the news that Al-Jazeera, the Qatari-owned broadcaster, is in advanced negotiations to move its Headquarters from Knightsbridge to become the first tenant in what will be Western Europe's tallest office building at over 1,000 ft.
