Advanced discussions are underway between developers at 20 Fenchurch Street, EC3, and potential tenant Ascot Underwriting. Although the space is not yet under offer, there are talks between the two parties for the insurance firm to take 30,000 square feet at the under-construction building for £70 per square foot. This would be one of the highest rents achieved in the City in 2012.
Ascot currently occupies the top floor at Plantation Place, EC3, which consists of 16,000 square feet, on a sublease from consultancy firm Accenture. The deal at 20 Fenchurch Street would therefore double the space occupied by them in the City.
