The ongoing regeneration of London's Southbank and the importance of London Bridge as a pivotal east-west/north-south public transport hub is set to move to an important next stage.
Network Rail has unveiled plans for the redevelopment of London Bridge mainline and underground stations. Works will start in May 2013 with projected completion in 2018. The works are set to enhance the already significant status of the locality for the office, residential and leisure property markets.
Short term pain for some commuters; but with long term gain for the London business world.
