Recent reports suggest that a debut deal is imminent at high-profile city development Cannon Place, EC4, where landlord Hines is expected to announce a 150,000 sq ft letting.
Law firm CMS Cameron McKenna is thought to have entered discussions to occupy the 3 lower floors in the building, with the rent expected to be a figure of less than £50 per sq ft.
CMS’ move comes a year after it withdrew from a deal to occupy 200,000 sq ft at Principal Place, EC2. The firm is currently based at Mitre House, 160 Aldersgate Street, EC1, with a lease expiry in 2015.
Cannon Place was completed in Q3 2011 and sits above Cannon Street railway station. The building was developed jointly with Network Rail.
